No prior fitness level is required. While you should be capable of light exercise, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will naturally help improve your fitness, endurance, and strength over time.

We run a dedicated beginner program on Wednesdays, which is perfect for new students. However, beginners are welcome to attend other classes as well, where coaches and teammates will help guide you.

For steady progress, we recommend training at least 2-3 times per week. For those who want to compete or improve quickly, 4–7 sessions per week is common.

Most classes follow this structure: • Warm-up / light drilling • Learning 2–4 techniques with a partner • Specific drilling from a focus position • Sparring rounds

No. When you first start, you can train in shorts and a T-shirt. However, we recommend purchasing a proper uniform as soon as possible. Uniforms are available for purchase at the gym.
